Last Day :(

Sunday and Monday were spent celebrating the holiday weekend shopping at the Paseo Recoleta (an artisan market) and was topped off with an evening of tango lessons. The artisan's market was filled with local trinkets and artwork where the girls worked on their negotiating skills. Later on the girls showed off their footwork skills at the Armenian Community Center during tango lessons. Some of the girls definitely mastered the tango moves, while others danced to rock'n'roll favorites joined by their coaches. Needless to say, yesterday was packed full of adventure and new experiences.
With a day off from field hockey we were all set for our clinic with Claedio, a former Argentinian national team coach, where we focused on passing tactics of the game. We returned to the hotel and went out to a spaghetti and ravioli lunch, re-fueling ourselves for the evening game against Gimnasia y Esgrima de Buenos Aires (GEBA). GEBA composed of 17-year-old players who could pass on a dime and sprint like the wind. The Bants are hoping to emulate this style of play for the 2008 season.

For those interested in flight information:
Our flight will return at 8:00AM (LAN Airlines Flight 532), however by the time we clear customs those catching the van back to Trinity should be leaving between 9:00-9:30AM.
